Advanced Research Up To PhD
We conduct world-class advanced research in:
- Statistics and Information Modelling
- Innovation and Creativity
- Financial Mathematics
- Business and Finance
- Business and Big Data Analytics
- Development Studies and Informatics
- Business Analysis and Project Management.
As noted in the PhD Supervision section of this website, in 2017 we have spun off from Afrihero a world-leading PhD research and enterprise development outfit, the International Centre for Research and Enterprise Development (ICRED), UK, also trading as Oselux World Higher Education and Research Observatory 3E, UK, see www.icred7e.com or www.oseluxworldhero3e.com.
The 3E suffix emphasises
Entrepreneurship, Enterprise Development, and Employability skills.
Indeed, in the ICRED this is extended to a School of 7Es of Education, namely:
- Expertise, Experience, Entrepreneurship, Enterprise Education, Employability, Emotional Intelligence, Engagement/Execution.
- The 7E focus enables us to achieve immersively-deep whole-person education, not seen this way before in the world.

Triple Helix Academia-Industry-Government Collaborations
These collaborations enable us to:
- partner HEIs globally in improving the quality of teaching and research in different schools;
- work with recognized universities around the world for split-site supervision of doctoral research, as this strategy has the potential of improving quality and saving costs;
- promote the development of key academic disciplines, such as listed above, through attractive incentives, as well as soliciting funds for prizes, fellowships, conference/workshop participation and textbook writing;
- establish linkages with the private sector as sources of real-life problems and potential research collaborations;
- work with industry and the private sector to sustain and expand their ongoing support for the development and application of disciplinary research to real life problems, through the award of fellowships and funding of research projects;
- partner with African and developing country universities to organize regular conferences, seminars and workshops that focus on the mathematical modelling, simulation, statistical analysis and scientific computing of industrial and development-related problems, for example;
- encourage and promote research visits and internships by staff and students in different disciplines, for example mathematical sciences, to various sectors of the industry;
- sustain and expand industry support for manpower development in different disciplines, through the award of scholarships/bursaries to both undergraduate and postgraduate students;
- foster academic-industry-government collaboration through the establishment of a special fund to support industry visits/internships by staff and students across African universities and those of other developing countries
- Convening annual AfriWorldhero3e International Schools, Symposia, Conferences and Workshops (ISSCWs) with all these topics as themes
- Publishing related proceedings, journal papers, superbooks and research monographs.
